Mr Akhavani is recognised for his refinements to several key techniques in breast and body surgery, including drainless abdominoplasty, corset abdominoplasty, the internal bra and auto-augmentation mastopexy, a breast lift that uses the patient’s own tissue to restore fullness. These developments aim to make recovery smoother and to give results that look natural and last. An early proponent of drainless abdominoplasty in the UK and a former Chair of the BAPRAS Body Contouring Special Interest Group, he co-authored research on high-volume drainless lipoabdominoplasty, published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which Dr Alan Matarasso selected as his Cosmetic Pick of the Month. He has twice been named in Tatler’s list of the UK’s top 40 plastic surgeons and won Cosmetic Surgeon of the Year at the Safety in Beauty Awards.

His surgical training took him to leading centres in Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, Manchester and New York. Known affectionately by his patients as “Magic Mo”, he is described as caring, honest and reassuringly meticulous, and he brings warmth and a sense of humour to every consultation.
His expertise includes breast augmentation (including hybrid augmentation with fat grafting), uplift, reduction, reconstruction and revisional surgery; abdominoplasty, body contouring and SAFELipo® liposuction; facelifts and facial rejuvenation; gynaecomastia correction and labiaplasty. He is a member of BAPRAS, BAAPS and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Mr Dan Marsh is a consultant plastic surgeon with over 20 years’ experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and consultant at the Royal Free Hospital, he holds a PhD from University College London and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals as a trusted voice of authority.
Mr Marsh is recognised for introducing advanced techniques such as the short scar breast augmentation, the internal breast lift and the internal ‘corset’ for abdominoplasty patients - innovations designed to reduce visible scarring, improve recovery times and enhance long-term results. His work is regularly referenced in publications including Tatler’s Cosmetic Surgery Guide and he is widely regarded for his technical skill, discretion and consistently natural results.

His surgical training began in Bristol, continued across leading London teaching hospitals, and was further refined in the United States. Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 3,000 procedures, specialising in breast, facial and body surgery.
His expertise includes breast augmentation, uplift, reduction and reconstruction; facelifts, eye lifts, neck and ear surgery; abdominoplasty, body contouring, liposuction, labiaplasty and male chest correction. He also treats skin cancers with the same precision and care as his aesthetic work.
Louise is an experienced aesthetic nurse with over 10 years of expertise in Botox, dermal fillers, and plastic surgery.
Throughout her career, she has developed a deep understanding of facial anatomy and the art of non-surgical enhancements, ensuring her clients receive natural, youthful results.
With a comprehensive background in plastic surgery, she provides expert pre- and post-operative care, ensuring her patients have a smooth, safe experience from start to finish.
Emily has 7 years of experience in the plastics and aesthetics industry, specializing in both surgical and non-surgical treatments.
She is skilled in starting the pre-operative patient journey and delivering exceptional post-operative care.
In addition, Emily is highly qualified in non-surgical treatments, including dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, and medical-grade skincare. Her expertise ensures a gold standard of care for all patients at the PSG.
Lauren is a nurse with over 6 years experience and a background in surgical and medical care. Her role includes supporting patients during their decisions to undergo major or minor surgery with the clinic.
This includes assessing patients' health before surgery, providing education on what to expect and helping to manage any concerns. After surgery, she monitors patients’ well being, administers any medications, and supports them throwout the recovery period providing gold standard care. She works closely with the surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive outstanding care during their time with the PSG.
Meg is an experienced patient advisor specializing in plastic surgery with over 15 years of hands-on experience in providing comprehensive care.
Meg demonstrates expertise in managing pre-surgical bookings, coordinating follow-up care, and performing various administrative tasks to support smooth clinic operations. Her extensive background in plastic surgery allows her to work closely with surgeons, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care throughout their surgical journey.
Lucy has been with The Plastic Surgery Group since its launch in 2017 and has worked alongside Mr Marsh and Mr Akhavani for over a decade.
With extensive knowledge of the cosmetic surgery industry, Lucy plays a key role in managing the clinic’s day-to-day operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Her focus is always on delivering the highest level of care and support to patients, guiding them through every step of their surgical journey. From the first enquiry to aftercare, Lucy is dedicated to making sure each patient’s experience is safe, seamless, and positive.
Penny-Jane is an experienced office manager with a strong background in managing the day-to-day operations of a Plastic Surgery clinic.
With a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinic processes, Penny-Jane plays a key role in overseeing the clinic, co-ordinating appointments, handling patient admissions and supporting patients throughout their surgical journey.
Known for being detail-oriented and approachable, Penny-Jane also assists with chaperoning and performing a variety of other administrative tasks to ensure the clinic runs efficiently and that patients feel comfortable and well-cared for.
